When migrating from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO), please ensure that both applications are set to the same region, Shafiq. Allow me to explain this further.
Migrating from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO) requires both to be in the same region. This might be the reason why the CNTRL + B + Q shortcut is not responsive. If your QBDT is from the UK, US, or Canada, ensure your QBO subscription is also from the same region to facilitate a successful migration process.
Suppose your QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription is registered in a different region than your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) account. In that case, you can manually import your QBDT lists into QBO. To do this, first export your QBDT file to Excel in CSV format, and then import it into your QBO account.
For more information on the lists that you can move to QuickBooks Online, see this article on how to import them: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
Regarding your Deposited Account, the error may be occurring because these entries do not match a valid account in your Chart of Accounts. Please ensure that the account name matches exactly, including spelling, capitalization, and spacing. Additionally, verify that the formatting is correct (e.g., use MM/DD/YYYY for dates, avoid special characters, and ensure clear column headers) in your Chart of Accounts.
In your CSV file, update the Deposit Account column so every entry perfectly matches an existing account name, such as "Cash on Hand," "Cash," or "Current." This will trigger errors unless these accounts are explicitly created in QBO. Once you've confirmed this, map the entries accordingly when importing them into QBO.
Additionally, you may opt to use a third-party application that supports this process directly.
