Import G/L detail transactions

I have an excel detail general ledger file (every transaction) for several years.  I want to have the history for each account for comparison reporting.  How can I import this file into Quickbooks Online?

It’s great to see you in the Community, placour1.

The Import Data feature lets you bring your lists into QuickBooks Online (QBO) seamlessly. You can import the following information to your company:

For the transactions, you’ll have to manually enter them or use a third-party application to automatically bring them into QBO. There are several Intuit-approved apps that will help you through the process.

You can visit the QuickBooks Apps Center or go to the Apps menu on the left panel of your company. Then enter a keyword in the search field to easily find one. Also, you can read through the reviews and customers’ feedback for a better comparison.

This reference provides detailed information of the lists you move into your existing company: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online. It includes some links on how to perform the process of each one.
