Payrun - Non-US Version

How can i create a pay run in the Non-US Version of Quickbooks Online?

I have been told i should do it either through the expenses section or as a manual entry but unfortunately, i am yet to figure it out.

Also, how can i migrate the the payroll amount payable to each employee when i get that data from my other accounting software as i am currently migrating from Xero to Quickbooks Online and i would like to have the amount i owe each employee under the wages payable.

Payrun - Non-US Version

Thanks for posting in the Community, @Oj2020.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) international versions currently don't have a built-in payroll feature. We only offer payroll service to the following countries:

  • United States
  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Australia

Journal Entries (JE) are a good way to record the accounting information for your payroll. I highly suggest checking out this article: Recording payroll transactions manually. It contains some examples of how you can properly record them.

You can also consider looking for a third-party payroll app provider within your region that can integrate with QBO. Once you set up your third-party payroll account, just manually enter payroll paychecks in your Online account.

As per your other concern, though we can import/migrate data into QBO, the option to include payroll is currently unavailable. You need to manually enter them as a workaround.

I can see how these options would be helpful for you, and I'll take note of this. Our Product Engineers are always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve the system.

Please know that I'm only a few clicks away if you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be here to assist. Have a good one!
