Can we have Inventory Management Report from Quick Books Online, features like Stock In, Stock Out, Closing Inventory?

Welcome to the Community, bhatiachhavi10-g.

Helping you out running reports that will show the stock in, stock out, and closing inventory is my priority.

Based on the details shared, we’ll have to open the Stock Valuation Detail Report to view the stock in. Then, run the Balance Sheet Report to see the closing inventory data. Also, export to Excel the data on the Products and Services page for the stock out information. Allow me to assist in performing the task in QBO.

To open the Stock Valuation Detail Report:

  1. Tap the Reports menu on the left panel to enter the Stock Valuation Detail Report in the search field.
  2. Click the Report period drop-down to set the correct date range.
  3. Hit the Customise button to open the Customise report window.
  4. Press the Change columns link under Rows/Columns to mark the box for Quantity on hand.
  5. Choose Run report to view the changes.

This is how the report looks like after following these steps. Go to the Qty on hand column to see the number of stocks available in QuickBooks. inv rep.png

For the stock out data:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top and choose Products and services under Lists.
  2. This will take you to the All Lists page.
  3. From there, click the OUT OF STOCK icon to display all items that are running out.
  4. Press the Export to Excel icon.

In regard to the closing stock, run the Balance Sheet Report dated for the last day of the previous year. With just a few clicks, you can get the data.

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu on the left panel to enter the Balance Sheet Report in the search field.
  2. From the Report period drop-down, click the Custom option to enter the correct date.
  3. Pick the Run report button.

This information will help you move forward today. For additional information, the following guide contains a list of reports that can help see your best sellers, what’s on hand, the cost of goods, and more: Use reports to see your sales and inventory status.

Don't hesitate to let me know if you need some help with using the Inventory feature and managing reports in QBO. I’m more than happy to assist further. Enjoy the rest of the week.
