Thanks for inquiring about this feature, @jayavenkatainfra,
Right at the moment, the option to embed QR codes on QuickBooks invoices is unavailable. Anyway, QuickBooks is compliant with tax updates and processes from government agencies. We don't have any information on when certainly this will be released since they work internally with program updates.
Until then, you will need to do the process outside QuickBooks. Here are some resources to help you with this task:
You can also contact our QuickBooks India support to get some workarounds on this. To get a rep to assist you, follow the steps below:
Please update me on how it goes. I'll be right here if you need anything else with QuickBooks. Have a nice day!
I have posted this in some other discussions as well that from April 1 E invoicing Applies to everyone in India. There is no turnover limit so even the small businesses that you cater to right now will be complying. We as bigger one are already taking the pains of generating invoices from a software other than QBO and then doing manual input into QBO.
If you guys cannot help in basic compliances, then what is the point of using QBO. Intuit has a great image all over the world. Please keep that image going and help us out. Otherwise I don't understand who this software can fully cater to if not the common businesses?
Hi,
Now it's mandatory for the company having Rs 50 Cr turnover so when you going to update your system.
Good day to all!
I understand that it is really important to comply with the government rules and laws. I have something to share about this.
Currently, we're unable to provide a timeline for when QuickBooks Online will be able to integrate with IRP for IRN and QR generation. As a workaround, you'll want to look for a third-party app that can integrate between these platforms so you don't have to re-enter the data to QuickBooks Online. You may also directly generate these via the IRP portal.
In addition, I suggest you sending feedback to our developers. Click the Gear icon and select Feedback. This way, they'll know that you need this feature as soon as possible.
