Your home currency in QuickBooks is based on the location of your business, Finanzas. To change the home currency from MXN to USD, create a new account under the US region. I'll be glad to show you how.
You can't change the Home Currency because the MXN-Mexican Peso is the only one currently supported in QBO accounts purchased in Mexico. However, we can subscribe to the US website to make USD the default currency. Just ensure not to turn on the Multicurrency feature to make these modifications.

On the other hand, I suggest keeping your QBO account from your region if you're conducting business outside the United States, as they have specific accounting rules, regulations, and tax obligations. Thus, QuickBooks requires a separate subscription for each entity or country. Otherwise, cancel the existing one to prevent future charges.
Additionally, if you want to keep track of foreign transactions in your US account without dealing with exchange rate conversions, check out this article: Set up and use Multicurrency in QuickBooks Online.
Moreover, save this resource to monitor the variations in exchange rates with foreign currency: Enter home currency adjustments for your foreign balances.
I encourage you to explore these currency features to discover the best way to manage your business. Let me know if you have more questions about navigating your account and entries. I'll be here to assist you further.
