How can I change QBO invoices to my company cause the company details are not correct in generated invoices which are made by QB? Is it possible to change them?

Yes, it's possible to change them, hubprofi. I can see how having accurate company details on your invoices is crucial, and I want to ensure you can update them.

There can be two reasons why the generated invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) displayed your company information incorrectly. Let me detail each of these reasons and the steps to resolve them.

First, invoices pull up company information based on what you've set up on the Accounts and settings page. In this case, we'll need to review your info such as your company name, email, phone number, and website. You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in your QBO account.
  2. Select Accounts and settings.
  3. Choose the Company tab.
  4. Click on the Company name section and review the Company name. Then, Save.

  5. Scroll down to the Contact info section and update the Customer-facing email, Company phone, and Website if necessary. Pick Save when done.

  6. In the Address section, modify the Customer-facing address to the correct one. Then, Save.

Next, it may be a custom form style template with wrong company information applied to the generated invoices. To correct this, I'd recommend creating a new one with the company information you want to appear on your invoices. Then, we can set it as default. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon once more. Then, pick Customer form styles.
  2. Select New style. Then, Invoice.
  3. From the Design tab, enter a template name.
  4. Proceed with the Content tab, and click on the invoice header on the right side section.
  5. Input the Business name, Phone, Email, and Business address.
  6. Review other details. Then, hit Done.
  7. On the page, choose the dropdown arrow. Then, Make default.

That's it! Now, you can print your invoices with accurate company information.

After this, you might need to record invoice payments in QBO. I'm adding this article as a reference: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online .

How can I change QBO invoices to my company cause the company details are not correct in generated invoices which are made by QB? Is it possible to change them?

Thanks for the answer! But I had a different question, I'll try to rephrase it. My company sets everything correctly for its clients and everything is generated in the program. My company is a client of Quick Books and Quick Books sets me its invoices for the subscription. This invoice contains incorrect data about my company, how can I correct it? So that I can download these invoices and attach them for tax reporting.

How can I change QBO invoices to my company cause the company details are not correct in generated invoices which are made by QB? Is it possible to change them?

It’s crucial to have accurate company information, especially for tax purposes, and I appreciate your proactive follow-up on your initial question, hubprofi. Let's work together to get this sorted out so you can download these invoices.

If you're referring to the Company details like the Name, Address, and Company type,  that's already been provided by my peer above. However, if you're referring to the payment details indicated in your QuickBooks subscription invoice, you can simply review it from the Subscriptions and billing section. I can guide you through the process:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online (QBO) as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and select Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Review the information in each section and click the View payment history from the QuickBooks Online tile.

From there, you can update or modify your payment method or account details. Here's how:

  1. Next to your payment method, select Edit ✎.
  2. Choose your preferred payment method and enter the necessary details.
  3. When you're done, hit Save and use.

If you subscribed to QBO through Google Play or Apple App Store, you can refer to this article for the process of updating your payment info: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

I'll hear you out if you have additional questions about your company details or any other QuickBooks concerns. Simply click the reply button and I'll provide the necessary information.
