How. to reset home currency?

I'll share with you the two options on how to reset your home currency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @elmerph

If you haven't enabled the multicurrency feature, you can still change your home currency. Let's go to the Advanced tab to complete this task. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to the Settings (Gear) icon at the upper right.
  2. Select Account and settings under Your Company.
  3. Choose Advanced.
  4. Click Currency.
  5. Select your currency from the Home currency drop-down list.
  6. Choose Save.
  7. Hit Done.

The screenshot below shows you the last five steps.

If multicurrency is already turned on, we're unable to reset your home currency. It's because we want to make sure your foreign currency transactions are intact in the software. Also, the home currency adjustments will be accurate. With this, I'd suggest deleting all your data and starting over from scratch. The steps depend on how old your QBO account is.

To learn more about the process above, check out this article: Can I Change My Home Currency?

I recommend visiting this website: Multi-currency FAQ. It contains answers to the frequently asked questions about using this feature in QBO.

I'll be around to help if you need further assistance. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, @elmerph
