I have 2 online subscriptions. My chart of accounts show all bank and savings accounts for both in once business. How do I disconnect non-associated accounts?

I need to move the checking and savings to the correct businesses.

I have 2 online subscriptions. My chart of accounts show all bank and savings accounts for both in once business. How do I disconnect non-associated accounts?

To relocate your checking and savings account correctly, you must first disconnect your bank from the Chart of Accounts, admin offices. Let me guide you through the process.

 

When transferring your bank account to the correct account, you must disconnect the linked account from the Chart of Accounts. Afterward, log in to your financial institution from the Transactions menu.

 

Kindly follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Disconnect your bank account

 

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the account the account that needs to be disconnected.
  3. From the Action column, hit the View register dropdown, then click Edit.
  4. Tick the checkbox beside the Disconnect this account on save.
  5. Click Yes if you'll see a prompt message.
  6. Once done, hit the Save button.

 

Step 2: Connect your bank and choose the correct account.

As you connect your account, please know there are certain limitations when pulling these transactions.

 

  1. From the Transactions window, navigate to the Bank Transactions menu.
  2. Click the Link account, then enter your bank name within the Search field.
  3. Enter your credentials, then click Continue.
  4. Select which accounts you'd like to connect.
  5. Click the dropdown beside the selected account, then choose what account type you'd like to link with your bank account.
  6. Select a date from the dropdown to pull your transactions.
  7. Hit Connect.

 

After connecting your account, you can categorize your transactions to their designated category.

 

When you're ready, you can reconcile your account so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
