Let me help you customize your invoice template to add two date fields, athenianlofts.
You can create a new template for your invoice to add From and To date fields. Let me show you how:
First, turn on the import style feature from your QuickBooks labs:
Once you're done, open a Word document and start creating your format. Take note of the field codes of your file. These are the keywords that can ease the process of mapping QBO data to dynamic parts of the template. Like From and To for your invoice. Here are the following:
For more information about this, go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles. Tap the New style drop-down to choose Import Style. Lastly, choose to download a sample for detailed instruction. You can also import the template that you created from here.
When you create the invoice, add the dates on the Invoice date and Due date. When you print, preview or send this to your clients, it will show on the From and To fields. I've added a screenshot below for your reference.
However, this feature is only available for Invoice and Estimates. This is still unavailable for Sales Receipt. You can only edit the header, table, and footer by going to your Custom Form styles page and choosing Sales Receipt from the New style drop-down.
