%Month% %Year% are not replaced with real values when invoices are generated. Any idea how to fix this ?

Hello,

I have created a Recurring Bill with Interval as Monthly and start date as 01-Mar-2022

Then the line item Category as Rent and Description as Rent for %Month% %Year%. I was expecting that when the bill gets generated in April it will be read as Rent for April 2022 but the bill was generated as Rent for %Month% %Year%.

How do I generate bill with current Month and Year automatically in Recurring Bill Scenario ?

Best Regards,

Siya

Thanks for the additional information, siya-delogue-com.

That seems very unusual. Normally, the recurring transactions should show a real number for the date instead of a percentage symbol. To isolate the issue, you can perform some browser troubleshooting steps. There are times that the stored temporary internet files cause strange behaviors in QuickBooks Online.

You can start by signing in to your QuickBooks company using a private window. This mode doesn't save your browsing history and site data. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • For Firefox or Microsoft Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, press Command + Shift + N.

After that, open the bill and check its transaction date. If it's now showing the correct numbers, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to start over fresh. Switching to other different browsers can also help resolve the issue.
