Apparently I’m using an old template for my estimates and cannot preview them. Can anyone help me with instructions on how to update so I can preview again? Thanks!

I'm really glad you've found your way here. You’re in the perfect place for support,@englewoodhomegrown. I would be absolutely delighted to guide you through the Sales section, where we can update and preview your estimates together.

 

Here's how you can update and preview your estimates using the old template:

 

  1. Select the Sales menu and proceed to the Estimates tab.
  2. Pick the estimate you want to update and click Edit to reopen it.

  3. Go ahead and update the information.
  4. Scroll down and hit Print or Preview.

That doesn’t seem to help. My problem is in the mobile app when I tap Preview and Send I get this message:

PDF preview is unavailable with this template

You're using an old template. Print or download the PDF to view it.

The option to modify your template in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using your mobile app is currently unavailable. I encourage you to submit product suggestions regarding the ability to update templates in your QBO app. Customer suggestions are forwarded directly to our engineers for their review.

 

You can perform the steps to send your feedback in QBO using your mobile browser. Here’s how to do it:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.

 

In the meantime, you can download or print your estimates using your mobile app browser to view them.
