Can make an ordered invoices?

My business operates across multiple locations, some of which are in Israel, all issuing invoices through the same QuickBooks account. I've noticed that the invoice numbering is not always sequential between the different locations, which could potentially cause compliance issues with legal requirements in Israel.

Is there a way to configure QuickBooks so that each location can issue invoices with its own independent sequential numbering, ensuring that every invoice is part of a correct and continuous sequence? I want to make sure that all issued invoices, especially those from our locations in Israel, meet the legal requirements for sequential numbering.

I would appreciate your assistance with this issue or any suggestions on how best to manage this within the system.

Can make an ordered invoices?

I can see you're interested in adding independent sequential numbering by location on your customer invoices, Itai. Let me provide details about this.

Currently, issuing invoices with sequential numbers between different locations is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. For now, I recommend sending a feature request directly to our product engineers so they can include your suggestion in future product updates.

To do this:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top, then choose Feedback.
  3. Enter the new features you would like us to add in the description box.
  4. Select Next to submit feedback.

You can also visit our QuickBooks Online Blog to be updated about our latest news, features, and updates about QuickBooks Online and what our Product Care Team is working on.

Additionally, here's a reference you can utilize to help you track and enter customer-paid invoices to ensure the accuracy of your accounts: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be looking forward to any queries you may have when managing customer invoices in your company account. Feel free to leave a reply below. Stay safe!
