Custom forms Invoice. As much as i try tp change the custom form on invoice, it still comes back to the good old same one. How do i change the appearence of the Invoice.

I’ll make sure we get this fixed swiftly, Akefalansari. I’ve prepared comprehensive steps to update your invoice appearance to your preference.

To better tailor my guidance, could you please confirm whether you want to modify the Custom Form Styles for your invoices or if you’re looking to switch between the New and Old Invoice layouts? Clarifying this will allow me to provide the most accurate instructions and resolution.

If you are referring to changing your invoice’s custom form style, please save your changes before closing the tab to ensure the updates are applied correctly.

Here's how:

  1. Open your invoice and select the Edit option.
  2. Click the Gear icon and choose Design.
  3. Under the templates section, select the new template you want to apply.

  4. Hit on Save to apply your changes.

On the other hand, if you wish to switch to the New Invoice layout, please click the Update button in the upper right corner of your invoice screen. I've attached a screenshot below for your reference:

If you have completed these steps and the issue remains, I recommend accessing your account through an incognito window to help rule out any potential webpage issues. Sometimes, changes may not appear immediately due to excessive cached data stored in your browser.

Here are the shortcut keys in various supported browsers:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once there, please log into your QuickBooks account and check if this resolves the problem. If it does, clearing your regular browser's cache will help the program run smoothly and eliminate technical issues. You can also try using other devices and supported browsers as alternatives.
