I have another approach to how you can record the shipping and freight costs, faithhopelove.
For now, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't handle landed costs. As a workaround, you can create a service item for shipping and freight charges. To do so, you can follow the steps below to guide you how:
Once done, you now create a bill either in the Category details or Item details section. You'll just have to make sure to choose the correct account for the items or enter the correct products.
However, I still recommend reaching out to your accountant for other ways how you can record the costs.
Moreover, learn how you track and manage products and services in QBO. I've added this article for your reference: Set Up And Track Your Inventory In Quickbooks Online.
Let me know if you have any more questions, comments, or concerns about inventory. Please know I'm always right here to further assist you.
