How can i remove tax column from the invoice ?

Welcome to the Community, Info.

I'd be glad to help you remove the tax column from the invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can simply change the Amounts are into Out of Scope of Tax to remove the tax column. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to +New and select Invoice.
  2. In the Amounts are section select the dropdown button and choose Out of scope of tax.

In addition, to make the Out of Scope of Tax default rate. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon or Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Tap the Advanced tab, then select the pencil icon in the Accounting section.
  3. Change the Default tax rate selection to Out of scope of tax.
  4. Press Save and then Done.

Once done, the VAT or Tax will not be included in the invoices.

How can i remove tax column from the invoice ?

Thank you for getting back to this thread, Info. I have additional details about how to remove the tax column from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) invoices.

You can modify the default tax rate selection within the Accounting and Settings page. This way, you'll not have to manually choose "Out of Scope of tax" each time you create invoices.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Tap the Advanced tab, then click the pencil icon in the Accounting section.
  4. Change the Default tax rate selection to Out of scope of tax.
  5. Press Save and then Done.

I've included a screenshot as a visual reference.

After completing these steps, there will be no need to manually select "Out of scope of tax" for every invoice creation, as it will be automatically displayed in the "Amount are" section.

I've also included a short clip for reference.
