How to add signature lines in estimate/invoice? I need to ask customer to chop on the document for their confirmation.

Thanks for posting to the Community, @jwc-cheng-yahoo-. I'll share a few details on how to come up with signatures in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Right now, adding a signature line to an estimate and invoice is not an option. I know the benefits of having this functionality would be helpful to your business. Your insights about this feature will help us make the program works best for your company.

As a workaround, you can use the Message on invoice or Message displayed on estimate field to include the information you need.

You can also capture signatures using the QuickBooks Online mobile application. By selecting an existing or creating an estimate or invoice transaction, your customers can add their signatures manually through your phone using a digital pen or finger. You can disregard the workaround above when you decide to use this feature.

I am an office furniture reseller.

My current sales flow is

1. I generate quotation with offline invoicing software with two signature placeholders - one for me to chop to confirm this quotation is validated by me; and another one for customer to sign and chop when they confirm to order.

2. I send the quotation pdf to my customer

3. Customer signs and chops the designated placeholder and scan back the quotation to me

That's why I need the signature placeholders on the quotation itself. I do not need online/e-signature function but just a placeholder for myself and customer to chop on the paper. Thank you!
