I do not see "Refund" from my iPhone application. Is there a way to show all transactions including "Refund" in addition to 'Invoice" and "Payment"?

Hi there, thi.ngo.

Currently, the ability to show the refund transaction is only available when accessing QBO through a web browser.

I suggest logging in your QuickBooks account through a browser from a computer or tablet. Then, enter any refund transaction based on various scenarios.

If you use refund receipts for a customer that asks for a refund for an item or service, please follow the steps below.

  1. Click the New button at the left panel.
  2. Choose Refund receipt or Give refund.
  3. Select the customer you want to refund.
  4. Select an account from  Refund From drop-down arrow.
  5. Add all products or services the customer returned in the Product or service column.
  6. Fill in the other necessary fields.
  7. Hit Save and close.

For additional information on how you can refund a customer, you can click this article: Record a customer refund in QuickBooks Online.

Please check this article to see steps on how to give a credit note or delayed credit to a customer: Enter and apply credit notes and delayed credits in QuickBooks Online. This also provides information on how you can set up QuickBooks to automatically apply credit notes to your invoices.
