Im told that in ireland we cannot change our default tax rate unless we manually do so by each individual product. 1000's of products with no reasonable solution. HELP

QuickBooks Online features may vary in each region due to its different accounting and tax preferences. For the Ireland version, you're unable to change the tax rate in bulk since each item has an individual rate set up. It needs to be done manually.

 

The system allows you to change the default tax rate of your customer. However, this is only applicable to selected versions like the US and Canada.

 

On the other hand, since your items are over a thousand, you may check on a third-party application that integrates with QBO and offers the option to modify the tax rate in bulk.

HI Betty,

thanks for your help but i don't have this tab on the Ireland version. I think this may be only on the Canadian version. It seems such a simple setting and would help me so so much to have this option until qbo can resolve this.

HI Betty,

 

I'm greatly upset that this all qbo can offer.

Its not manually possible for myself, so i must consider another provider.

The vate rate can change again at anytime and i will be forced to repeat this process every time.
