Hello there, fwahid-hotmail-c,
QuickBooks Online (QBO) automatically creates your chart of accounts based on the industry and type of company you choose when creating your company file.
You'll want to access them by clicking Settings ⚙, then choose Chart of accounts.
If you need to add new accounts, QuickBooks lets you import them using a spreadsheet in Excel or CSV file format. Let me show you how:
Match your fields to QuickBooks fields, then click Import.
You can also refer to this article: Move your chart of accounts to QuickBooks Online for instructions and detailed steps.
I've added the Detail types in chart of accounts page to learn how to track your financial statements in QBO.
Stay in touch if you need additional information. I'm always around whenever you need help.
