Not to worry, I'm here to help you with accessing the View register in QuickBooks Online, justinrsousa-gma.
In QBO, the View register option is for bank accounts whereas Run report is for income and expense account. Can you let me know if you receive an error message when clicking the View register option? This information will help me determine if other users are having the same issue.
In the meantime, we can try some troubleshooting steps to fix this. Let's start by accessing our account using a different browser. This helps check if a browser issue might be the reason why you're unable to view the register. Please check out this link to see what computer and browser you need for the best QB experience: System requirements for QuickBooks Online, Accountant, and QuickBooks Self-Employed.
When you're done, go back to the Chart of Accounts and verify if the View register option is now working. If it does, go back to your main browser and delete your browsing history. This eliminates all the cached that was causing the issue.
You can also check this guide on understanding the Chart of Accounts and on how to add an account to your COA in QBO:
I'd appreciate it if you'd update me on how the steps work. I want to make sure this is taken care of.
