Tax invoice line is not displayed on custom styles imported. How to fix this?

Thanks for the screenshots, usersolah.

It's best for this to be checked further to see what's really going on so I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support Team. The new "Help" menu interface:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and choose the Talk to a human option (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, type "Import Custom Invoice".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us.
  4. Tap Let’s talk then choose either Get a call or Start messaging

For the old "Help" menu:

  1. Click the Help icon, then the Contact Us button.
  2. Type "Import Custom Invoice" in the What can we help you with box.
  3. Proceed with the Let's talk button.
  4. Select either Start messaging or Get a call button.

Keep on posting here if you have other concerns. Wishing you all the best!

Tax invoice line is not displayed on custom styles imported. How to fix this?

Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get the Tax column working on your invoices, usersolah

I appreciate you for providing us a screenshot to better isolate the issue. Let's make sure we use the angle brackets (<>) for elements on your template that should be mapped to QuickBooks fields. Then, add the tax rate in your invoices in the spreadsheet if you collect taxes. When importing, you can map the tax codes you created into QuickBooks tax codes. You can also map each of your column headings to the invoice fields during the import. For the steps and details, see Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates article.

If you're already imported the correct template and the same thing happens, let's try opening your account using a private browser or an incognito window. This browsing doesn’t store data and will help the page load without issues from temporary data.

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox).
  • Press Command + Shift + N (Safari).

If it works, it’s a good idea to clear the cache to start on a clean slate. This process helps the browser to fetch the latest version of the webpage and a faster browsing experience. You can also use a supported, up-to-date browser to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Feel free to visit our Manage Customers and income page for more insights about managing your income and customer transactions.

I'd like to know how you get on after trying the steps, as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Just reply to this post and I'll get back to you. Take care always.

Tax invoice line is not displayed on custom styles imported. How to fix this?

Thank you for the quick response.

The angle brackets <> used were correct as you can see in the screenshot attached. And I think mapping also done correctly. Please check the screenshot to see if I am doing correctly.

I have also tried it using private window - it does not solve the problem.

By the way it shows correctly in Preview window when importing (Screenshot below). It is not showing in real invoices.

When I use standard invoice, tax displays correctly, when using custom templates it does not.
