Hello, How can I have automated generated Numbers for the expense entries

Welcome back to the Community, @j-koborsy.

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the ability to automatically generate numbers for expense transaction is currently unavailable. You can use the Ref no. field and enter them manually as a workaround.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. In QBO, go to the + New option at the top left to get to the Expense
  2. In the Ref no. field, enter the specific number. 
  3. Fill in the other necessary information, then hit Save and close.
