Hi there, eliomacho.
I can provide you some information on how you can connect your Paypal account to QuickBooks.
There are a few reasons for unexpected banking issues in QuickBooks Online. Please check the list below.
I suggest, checking your bank's website. There may be an issue on their end and it loses connection with QBO every time there are updates.
If the issue continues to occur, I recommend using a private browser when connecting your Paypal account to QuickBooks. This is to verify if we get the same result. And, this method prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser problems.
You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:
If you're able to connect and don't have a problem using a private browser, you'll have to clear the cache of your regular browser. This eliminates the stored files so it helps the browser to function efficiently. If not, use other supported browsers.
If the problem persists, you'll need to manually import your bank transactions to add them to your Online Banking. You can click this article on how to perform the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Please also check this article on how to review your bank and credit card transactions after you download them into QBO: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. This will help you to avoid double entries in your transactions.
Please know that you're always welcome to post if you have any other concerns. Wishing you and your business continued success.

Since you already tried the steps shared by my colleague and the issues persist, I highly contacting our Phone Support team. They have tools such as screen-sharing (remote access) that can pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate why you're unable to connect your bank. They can also perform other troubleshooting steps that can fix this for you.
Here's how to reach them:
Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

By the way, do you have connection with Paypal Spain?
Hi @eliomacho,
I appreciate your prompt reply. I'll take care of your concern about connecting a PayPal Spain account to your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
This option is currently unavailable. What you can do is upload your bank transactions into QBO.
Here's how:
Review the file format to ensure it's recognized by QBO. Take a look at this article for reference: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.
Now that the CSV file's format is correct. You can proceed with uploading it.
Follow these steps:
Follow the on-screen instructions to map the transactions. Once it's done, proceed with the upload process.
View this article for additional details on how you can upload bank transactions by hand: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. You can find a step by step guide, as well as related links.
You'll want to ensure your QBO bank balance is the same as your actual bank balance. A reconciliation will assist you with that. See this article for the steps: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
I'll be around if you need more help. Drop a comment below, and I'll get back to you.
By the way, do you have connection with Paypal Spain?
