How do I fix missing bank transactions?

I'm missing a bunch of July bank transactions on QB. I see it in my bank statement, but not in Quickbooks. I updated and refreshed the link, but still not posting the missing transactions from back in July. It is now October.

How do I fix missing bank transactions?

Hi there, Topher. I can help you find the missing bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

When you first connect your bank to QuickBooks, it will download your last 90 days of transactions. Some banks may allow you to download entries from an even earlier period. You'll want to download missing transactions or older dates through CSV file and manually upload to bring it to QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile on where you want to download the transactions into.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from file.
  4. Hit Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, tap Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks Account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, and click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file. Then, hit Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you want to download, then select Continue.
  8. Hit Yes, then Done.

After downloading your bank transactions, you can proceed to categorise your bank transactions to ensure your bank transactions are accurate.

Additionally, you can match your transactions incase you have duplicate transactions after downloading the missing transactions.
