Yes, there is, @barry-osullivana.

I'd be glad to walk you through the process of deleting your data in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and ensure you'll start over with new books.

You can't delete your data if your QBO has been active longer than 90 days. Otherwise, we can cancel it and start signing up for a new subscription. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Billing & subscription.
  3. Then, select Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process.

However, we can purge it if it's less than 90 days old. It deletes all data entered into the company, and take note that you're unable to restore or reverse it.

I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Company.
  2. Change the URL to include /purgecompany.
  3. Example: Change https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/homepage to https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  4. The next screen will provide a summary of the items to delete.
  5. Type YES to delete the data, then select OK.
  6. Once done, click Wipe data.

I'll share this article to learn more about this procedure: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online. It includes your frequently asked questions about managing your data.

I've added this handy resource to help you with company operations and bookkeeping: Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how else I can help you with your QBO account. I'm more here to lend a helping hand. Keep safe.
