Is there any one from Indonesia and using BCA (Bank Central Asia)? Did you able to connect your BCA or upload your bank transactions to QuickBooks?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Yuni Lestari.

Did you receive an error message when trying to connect your bank or manually upload your transactions? I can help you link your account into QuickBooks Online. I'd suggest using the bank's URL to connect the correct one. However, if the bank is not yet on the list, you can always submit a request.

Here's how to connect your bank:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click the Transactions or Banking menu and select Banking.
  3. If it's your first time connecting a bank, click Connect Account. Select Add account or Link account if you have existing banks connected.
  4. Enter or copy and paste your bank's URL.
  5. If you're unable to see your bank on the list, scroll down to the list and click Still can't find your bank?.
  6. Enter the bank's name and web address. Click Request.

Meantime, we have the option to manually import your bank transactions.

For more details in handling your bank accounts, you can click here.

Let me know if you have other questions. Take care!

@Yuni Lestari

Do you have a QBO Global version for Indonesia account?

We noticed BCA supports QBO

You are encountered the error code 185

Bank error 185 means your bank or financial institution (FI) requires more information after you enter your credentials.

This may mean that your FI has additional security requirements, such as a security question or one-time passcode (OTP), for you to address.

Fix error 185
Security questions: If your bank or FI asks you a security question, enter your answer. You may see this error again the next time you update if you have multiple security questions. As you enter your answers, QuickBooks Online remembers the security questions you have been asked and answers for you.
One-time password (OTP): If your bank or FI asks for an OTP, get your OTP (on a device, through text, call, etc.), and enter it each time you see Error 185.

Click the "complete secure connection" button on your screen.

Thanks for joining us here, Nik.

Did you encounter an error message when you connect your BSA account in QuickBooks? This way, we'll be able to provide an accurate solution to resolve the issue.

For now, I'd suggest contacting your financial institution. They might have some maintenance or other site changes made.

Once done, you can connect your bank again with QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and then select Banking.
  2. Select Connect Account if this is your first time connecting. Or select Add account or Link account if you've already created one.
  3. Search your bank or use the correct URL when you log in to your bank's website.
  4. Enter your bank's username and password.
  5. Select the type of account.
  6. Select how far back you want to download bank transactions.
  7. Click Connect.

For more information about the process, I recommend browsing this article: Connect Bank and Credit Card Accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help ensure your data is accurate: Categorise and Match Online Bank Transactions.

We'd appreciate your patience with this. In case you have other banking concerns, please let us know, so we'll be able to help you out.

Hi beyondeats,

Error 103 means your user ID or password is incorrect. Try logging in to your bank account outside of QuickBooks using the link on the Sign-in page to check that out. Your password may have expired, or the available online banking connection is not for the type of account you have.

Also, I can see that the available online banking connections for BCA are still in the Beta stage. Therefore, there could be additional updates in the future.

On the other hand, you can also upload your transactions so you can start categorising and adding them to your books. We sometimes recommend this especially when there's an issue with the bank.

Please know that I'm just around if you need help setting up your bank connection.
