Solving your crashed QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile applications is my focus here. Don't worry, I have various troubleshooting steps that you can follow so you can enter the expense amount seamlessly.
Let's check your QuickBooks number format by logging into your account through the browser. Proceed as follows:
Once done, re-enter the expense amount again using the browser. This way, we can verify if the problem is in your application itself. Please note that this will also change the dollar amount's format in other transactions and reports.
If it works well in the browser, I'd recommend returning to your mobile application and entering the amount again. If the issue persists, let's reset your mobile app. This is the same as clearing the cache from your web browser.
For Android devices:

If the problem continues, let's uninstall and reinstall the app for a clean slate. You do not need to worry since it won't delete any of your app's transactions or data.

After multiple resets I managed to get the app to work again and I can now input the correct amount
in my mobile Quickbooks app.
