I have my HSA employer contribution set up with each pay check. Now I'm trying to find where the HSA account is, i.e. where do I access the actual HSA account?

In other words, who is the default HSA provider? Link to my account?

Navigating the details of your Health Savings Account (HSA) can seem challenging but understanding where and how to access it is key to making the most of your benefits, @info2090. Let me get this into detail.

To start with, you can reach out to your employer's Human Resources or Benefits Department. to uncover this information. They can provide the specific HSA provider your company uses and guide you in accessing your account.

On the other hand, if you mean about setting up a Health Savings Account (HSA) item as an employee contribution, you can follow these steps:

  1. On the left navigational panel, look for the Payroll tab.
  2. Select Employees.
  3. Choose your employee.
  4. From Deductions & contributions, tap Start or Edit.
  5. Click + Add deduction/contribution.
  6. From the dropdown menu select Deduction/contribution type: HSA plans or Type: Pretax HSA or Taxable HSA.
  7. Enter a Description(appears on the paycheck).
  8. Select how your contribution is calculated. Then enter the amount or percentage.
  9. Add an Annual maximum amount.
  10. When finished, press Save then Done.

For more details about the process, I've added this article: Set up a Health Savings Account (HSA) item in QuickBooks Payroll.

Additionally, searching through past emails from your employer regarding benefits can lead you to the right details.

You can also skim through the topics from this link for additional guides while working with QuickBooks or payroll in the future.
