Let me ease your confusion, @sraston-yahoo-co.

Deleting a transaction in QuickBooks may affect your account balances or reports if they are already reconciled. However, if you just created the transaction and isn't reconciled yet, you can delete it. Then, recreate a new one if needed. Also, please know that deleting a transaction is irreversible. Here's how to delete a transaction:

  1. Find the expense transaction you want to delete, and open them one at a time.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click More.
  3. Choose Delete.1.PNG
  4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

You can also read this article for more information: Void or delete transactions in QuickBooks Online.

As always, feel free to visit our Suppliers and Expenses page for more insights about managing your vendor transactions.
