Hi there, usman86.

Thank you for posting here in QuickBooks Community. I'll share some insights about creating a cash flow forecast in QuickBooks Online.

To do cashflow forecasting in QuickBooks Online, I suggest using the Cash Flow planner. This planner is an interactive tool that forecasts your cash flow, the money going in and out of your business. It looks at your financial history to predict future money in and money out events. To start with, you'll need to set up your Planner. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Choose the Cash Flow menu.
  2. Select Planner.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to set up the planner.

After that, if you already connected your external bank accounts for online banking, you're ready to go. QuickBooks automatically analyses the transactions in these accounts and predicts future money in and out of events.

Then, you can now forecast your cash flow. You can click this article to see the steps to finish the process: Use the Cash Flow planner to predict future income and expenses.

On the other hand, there's no option to bring snapchat of your project's details on the dashboard. However, you can click each income and expense graph on the dashboard to see the full details of your money in or money out.

You also have the option to turn on the Cash Flow Dashboard Widget feature from QuickBooks labs. This widget provides a real-time view of your current cash balance along with a historical comparison of income and expenses across all your connected bank accounts.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select QuickBooks Labs.
  2. Click Cash Flow Dashboard Widget, then turn it ON.
  3. Hit Done.

You can also check out this article and scroll down to the Frequently asked questions section to view different information about cashflow: Managing cash flow made easy.

Please keep me posted on how this works. I'll be right here to assist you further if you have followed up questions. Have a good one!
