Can be configured the QBO printing area different from the letter size?

It's great to have a new member in the Community forum, Dgarcia. Let's set up your printing preferences for your Bixolon printer.

 

At this time, please know that label, thermal, and POS printers are not directly compatible with QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, there is an alternative solution we can make that allows you to configure the print format to suit the specifications of your printing device.

 

Additionally, the paper size for printing invoices, sales receipts, and other sales forms in the program is Letter (8.5 x 11 inches). You can follow the steps below to adjust the paper size to print your data accurately using your printer:

 

  1. Go to Sales, then pick the All Sales tab.
  2. Locate the transaction you need to print.
  3. Hit Print.

  4. Select the Printer icon in the upper right corner.

  5. Scroll down and tap on More Settings.

  6. From the Paper size drop-down menu, select Letter.

  7. Tick the Fit to printable area, then adjust the scaling percent by tapping the upward and downward arrows.
  8. Once done, click Print.

 

By adjusting your print settings in QBO, like changing the scale percentage and paper size, you can make sure your documents match your printer's requirements.
