Can I add another business in one ID ?

Hello.

I'm running 3 business in south Korea.

Each bunisess has different tax code, business bymber and location and products.

Can I run these 3 kinds of different business with one admin ID?

I saw that the 'Plus' version provide the track location function.

Is the location means different business with different business number and tax code?

Lookinf forward to hearing from QB.

Thanks.

One QBO account is for one company file. You can utilize the class/location feature in QBO Plus to manage branches/divisions/customer groups. You should open a new blank QBO account for the new company data.

Another option, utilize QB Desktop to manage multi company files. You can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 if required.

Can I add another business in one ID ?

It's lovely to have you here in the Community today, @Julie_KIM. I'd be more than happy to share some details about adding another business in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

In QuickBooks, ideally, it's one company per subscription only, which means you can only have one business on your current QBO subscription.  If you want to add three businesses to the same QuickBooks Online account, keep in mind that each one will have its own paid subscription, but you'll be able to access them all using the same login credentials. This way, you can quickly switch between companies and manage everything easily and efficiently.

If you wish to continue, I'd be happy to outline the steps below so you can proceed and add your other business to that same login credentials. To begin, here's how:

1. Go to the QuickBooks pricing page and select the subscription you want. Then, you’ll see one of two sign-in pages:

  • If you recently signed in to QuickBooks, you’ll see a page asking you to confirm the account you want to sign in under. If it’s the account you want to manage the new company with, select “Yes, that’s correct.”
  • If you haven’t signed in recently, you’ll see a page that asks you to create an Intuit account to buy QuickBooks. Scroll all the way to the bottom and look for the small text that says “Adding a company to an existing account?” Select Sign in next to this. When asked, enter the same ID and password you already use for QuickBooks.

  2. Fill out all the information about your new company and you’re good to go.

Now that you have multiple companies, you’ll be asked which company you want to open whenever you sign in to your QBO account. To switch between companies any time, go to the Gear icon and under the Profile column, select Switch company.

Additionally, the location tracking feature in QBO Plus can be used if your company has other branches in different locations. This feature lets you see all the payments for one location and deposit them as a group. For more information about location tracking, refer to this article: Set up and use location tracking.

I've got you this article In case you'd like to make changes with your email, user ID, password for QBO in the future: Change your email, user ID, or password for QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Online Accountant.

You can always get back to me anytime if you need further assistance setting up your business in QuickBooks Online, @Julie_KIM. I'll be more happy to have you here again. Thanks for choosing QuickBooks. Take care, and more power to your business!
