Landlines are less reliable than mobile phones for receiving verification codes, Spesconstruction.
That's because they aren't compatible with modern verification as mobile phones or email for verification. QBO systems are designed to work better with mobile networks for fast delivery of codes. Landlines can have issues like delays or missed calls, and some providers might block automated calls from Intuit, stopping the verification code from getting through.
You can change your verification number in the Intuit Account Manager.
Here's how
1.Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
2. Go to Sign in & Security and select Phone.
3. Select your preferred way of receiving the code.
4. Click the Change next to your number.
5. You'll be required to enter the verification code.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
7. Once done, hit Save.
