They are dropping support for India, Mexico and Brazil next year. I'm not sure they will be releasing a dedicated version for Saudi Arabia anytime soon to support ZATCA natively. You may have 2 options to consider:

1. If you have your own reasons to stay with QBO, you should use a free invoicing app as a solution. It supports ZATCA requirements,

Then use a connector to mirror the data back to your QBO.

2. Convert your data to another accounting app completely and purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

I just want to add to what Fiat has shared. At the moment, we don't have an estimated timeline for ZATCA to be supported or available in QBO. 

 

However, you can use third-party invoicing apps that can help you stay compliant with the new regulations. Let me help you look for accredited apps in QBO. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
  2. Click the drop-down list for Browse category and select a category.
  3. Choose an app and click on it to view more details and what they offer.

 

 

Most of the newly added features are actually based on our customer's feedback and suggestions. I would also recommend sending about supporting ZATCA in QBO. Here's how to send it in QBO: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feedback and suggestions about ZATCA in QBO.
  3. Click Next to submit them.

We @ avtax.net have solutions for integrating QuickBooks Online and Desktop with ZATCA #zatca Phase 1 and 2, and also with Jordan JOFOTARA, and Egypt ETA

Its up and running and we have many clients in the 3 countries
