Cant get verification code in my number

Hello there. I know how essential it is to receive the verification code to log in to QuickBooks Online (QBO). No worries, I'll help you with this concern.


There's a possibility that why you didn't receive a verification message on your number. It might be that the number you associated with Intuit is incorrect, or an SMS text message is not included in your phone plan. It could also be your phone won't accept receiving messages from short codes.


In addition, the phone number you're using may not selected as the default setting in QBO to send the text message verification. With this, you must set up code verification via text message. I'll show you how:
 

  1. In your Intuit Account, click Sign In & Security in the Manage your account.
  2. Choose Turn on in the Two-step verification field.
  3. Set up the Phone number, then enter the digits correctly and select Continue.

If done, sign in again to your QBO account to log in and access your account.

Cant get verification code in my number

I haven't received the verification code since yesterday. How to escalate this issue? Please note, the problem only occurs with a certain prefix number (i.e a specific mobile operator) in my country (Indonesia). I can still receive verification codes to other prefix numbers as usual.

Since you're still unable to receive the verification code, contacting our support team is currently the most effective course of action, as they possess the necessary tools to securely access your account. They will be able to conduct a thorough investigation into the issue and guide you through the resolution process.

 

Here's how to contact support:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online. 
  2. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard.
  3. Select Talk to a Human.
  4. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  5. Click I still need a human.
  6. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  7. Choose a way to connect.
