I appreciate what you've done so far, acc. Allow me to assist you further so you can successfully change the language in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before doing so, please make sure the other user didn't try to change the language at the same time. On the other hand, if the error is still the same even when you're the only one changing the language, we can check if it's a browser-related issue. First, log into your account using an incognito window to clear the corrupted browser cache that causes the issue. Please see the keyboard shortcut keys below:
Then, change the language again. Once resolved, please return to your original browser to clear its cache or utilize another compatible one.
In addition, you can add and manage users in QBO to give individual permissions for specific tasks.
