I have signed up for QBO, how can I change it to QBOA?

Thanks for sharing your query about changing from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA), vinceangelo. I'll share some information about this matter.

Please note that the direct transition from QBO to QBOA is not possible. Thus, signing up for a QBOA account is needed so you can access it. You can proceed with the following steps below:

  1. Head over to our website and choose your country or region.
  2. Select Accountants, then QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  3. Click Sign up.
  4. If you already have an existing ID, press the Sign in hyperlink beside the Already have an Intuit account?
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts.

Alternatively, you can sign up for QBOA through an invite email sent by your client or your QBO account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the My Accountant menu.
  2. Enter your email address and click the Invite button.
  3. Follow the prompt to verify your account.

Upon receiving the invitation, right-click the Accept Invitation link and copy the web address. It opens the sign-in page manually.

Once signed up, you can use QBOA and manage your tasks. However, you can always switch back to QBO anytime by hovering over the Gear icon and clicking the Switch company option.
