I want to cancel my QB Online Global subscription that's free. I want to set up a QB USA subscription and can't do this until the Global one is canceled.

What do you mean with Free?

Do you have QB Online Accountant Global version, not QB Online Global version, correct?

2. Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
   
3. Select the account you wish to close and click the Cancel option.
