Let’s work together to resolve your exchange rate issue quickly and efficiently.

 

Before anything else, can you share more details about the issue you’re experiencing with exchange rates? Are you adding a new currency, or recording a transaction that isn’t showing the correct exchange rates?

 

Now, if you need to manage your Currencies, this feature isn’t available in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app. With this, you'll have to log in to your QBO account through a web browser.

 

Alternatively, if exchange rates don’t appear when recording transactions or you're unable to update them within the transaction, this can be caused by cached data in the QBO app. Cached data can lead to synchronization issues or unexpected behavior. To resolve this, refresh your app's data by following the steps for your device below:

 

On Android

 

  1. Open the app and go to the Menu.
  2. Select Intuit Account & Settings under All.
  3. Tap Refresh Data, then Refresh Now to confirm.

 

On iOS 

 

  1. Launch the app and navigate to the Menu.
  2. Tap Intuit Account & Settings, then select Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Refresh Now to confirm.

 

If the issue persists, we'll have to clear or offload the app’s data to reset it.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to the Settings of your device.
  2. Select Apps and find the QBO app.
  3. Tap Storage, then select Clear Data.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Open Settings and go to General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage and tap the QBO app.
  3. Choose Offload App

 

If the problem continues, uninstalling and reinstalling the QBO app can help resolve the issue and ensure the app has the latest updates.
