I am not sure if it is my knowledge which is inadequate but I am finding QBO international version extremely limiting. I signed on one for a high volume transaction organization. We transacted for about 5 months with thousands upon thousands of transactions. When we were reconciling the 5th month, we noticed that there was error right in month one which we needed to rectify. We wanted to undo our bank rec. At this point we noticed QBO online cant undo bank rec except manually, one transaction at a time.
We then decided plan B; to reclassify all the wrong transactions, we got stuck. That functionality is also un available
I also noticed, the payroll functionality is also off.
As an accountant with about 5 businesses ready to sign on QBO, I am now extremely cautious to recommend QBO international as I think it is too too limited for any serious business.
Am I missing something??? Please help.
Hi there, Rwoth.
As of now, you need the QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) version to undo the monthly reconciled account. However, this isn't available for the Global version.
The QBOA version is available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Singapore, and South Africa. Also, QBO International doesn't have payroll functionality inbuilt.
If your business is located in those countries, you may start a new account by choosing the country first through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
On the other hand, you need to manually edit and unreconcile the transaction from the bank register. And, create journal entries to record payroll transactions. Please use these articles as your guide.

Thanks for your reply @MaryLandT
I do have 2 clients
1. In uganda
2. The second one in Netherlands. I take it that even in these 2 countries. Those functionalities I mentioned are not there?
.
QB Payroll is limited for certain regions only. You should have a local payroll app in Uganda and Netherlands to integrate with QB Online Otherwise, you can import the payroll data as JE.
If you manage your client's book personally, you may also consider using QB Desktop Accountant version instead. You can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2020 UK Premier Accountant, QB Desktop 2021 US Premier Accountant, or QB Desktop 2022 US Premier Accountant.
Let me provide some information about the availability of the QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) version, Rwoth.
As provided by@MaryLandT, the QBOA version is only available in the US, UK, Australia, India, Singapore, and South African regions. I want to know more about migrating from QBO FR to QBO Global. The company is based in France, but I am in the UK and only speak English. It seems impossible to get through to English speaking support. Can anyone help me? I need to know if the Global version can connect to the French bank Manager. One - automatic connection rather than manual updates.
You can purchase a 3rd party service to convert data from QBO France version to QBO Global version
Thank you Fiat Lux. I know how to do the migration, thank you. What I don't know is if the QBO Global (or EU) versions can link to the Manager. One bank account. Unless someone can test this for me, I will waste no more time trying to find out. For 2 hours I have been on chat to Global and they just refer me back to the France support. That's after I've told them several times that I cannot continue to use the French version. I think it's best to steer well clear of QBO now as no-one seems to provide solutions. Though I thank you for trying.
You can use any country in Europe (except France, UK, and Ireland) to signup for QBO EU version. We have clients using dummy address in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, etc
Until France is an option we can't use it. QuickBooks support advise that you have to select the country of the company registration as that information will be added to the invoices. My hands are tied. Or are they? Maybe you could check that for me Fiat? Knowing you can select Manager. One through other countries available in the EU version is really helpful, thank you.
You can change your address to France later in Company Setting
Another option, explore Zoho and purchase a 3rd party service to convert data from QBO.
