Encountering an error code while signing in or accepting a QuickBooks Online (QBO) invite can delay your business operations. Let's work together to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. I'll guide you through the process to ensure you can resume your transactions smoothly.

 

If you encounter an invitation error, please ask your QuickBooks Online admin to revoke the original invitation and send you a new one. To avoid any cached data issues, it's advisable to log in to your QBO account using an incognito or private browser window. This approach provides a fresh start, which can often resolve login issues. Use the following keyboard shortcuts to open an incognito or private browser window:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

Then, try to invite the user again. If it's successful, clear your browser's cache to remove specific issues and help the program run efficiently. Also, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

 

If you are still having trouble signing in, you can Contact Support. They can run a series of tests to know the root cause of this issue. Here's How:

 

  1. Go to the Help icon in the top right-hand corner.
  2. Select Search and open any article, then press the Contact Us button.
  3. Select a topic or enter your question in the box and hit Continue.
  4. Choose the best way you'll want to reach out to us.
