I appreciate you reaching out here in the Community, Bhumika. It's possible that another user may have changed the format while you're editing it. I recommend clearing your browser’s cache to resolve this unusual behavior.

To better assist you, could you kindly clarify what type of format you’re trying to change? For example, are you editing an invoice template, a report, or something else? This will help me provide you with more specific guidance tailored to your situation.

Cache-related issues can sometimes prevent QuickBooks from working properly. Follow these steps to clear your cache, but avoid clearing cookies, as they store important user information for seamless access.

You could also try using a different supported browser to ensure optimal compatibility with QuickBooks. If the issue persists after clearing your cache, I recommend contacting our live support team for further investigation.

Additionally, you may check the Audit Log section to see if another user has edited the template.
