Hi, Our office is located in India and i'm using Quickbooks Online plus -Version 4.1.4-71 (4.1.4-71.71). I require the below details which need to be submitted to auditors .
Do we have downloaded version of Quickbooks India? If not, Kindly provide the Location of the server where electronic data is stored( Including full address, IP Address, Phone number, Email-ID) . Does the system use cloud technology to maintain the data?
I'm happy to see you here in the Community, @Anju Mahendra.
I have some information to share regarding checking your QuickBooks version and how the system keeps track of your data.
To verify if you're using the QuickBooks Online Plus for India, I recommend checking the home currency that's showing in your account. If it's shows as Indian rupee (₹), then you are using the right version.
There are two ways to determine this. First if from the dash board. You can open your QuickBooks Online Account and see the currency sign used on the graphs from the Dashboard.
Second is from the Accounts and Setting page. Please follow the steps below to accomplish this:
If it's not showing the correct currency, you may cancel your current subscription and subscribe to the accurate version. You can find the QBO for India products in this link: QuickBooks Online for India.
On the other hand, QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based program that automatically backs your data up with the same level of security used by banks and financial institutions. Thus, automatic backups are performed every night. That said, you can access your account any time and anywhere as long as you have a strong internet connection.
To learn more on how we ensure that your data is safe and secure, you may check out this link: Do I need to back up my data with QuickBooks Online?.
When it comes to determining the server where electronic data is stored, including full address, IP address, phone number, and email-ID, I suggest visiting the Privacy and Security actions section in this site: Intuit Privacy Center.
I'm also adding here a reference about the frequently asked questions on how to utilize QBO: Get started with QuickBooks Online.
If there's anything else that I can assist you with, let me know. I'll make sure you're all set. Have a lovely day, Anju.
Make sure you have a QBO India version as mentioned by BettyJaneB.
