Welcome to the Community space, @sganasva. I'll gladly help you sort this out so you can access your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) company without experiencing any difficulties.

Before we do so, I'd like to share some details as to why you encounter this type of error. Unrecoverable errors are usually caused by the following:

  • Missing Windows or QuickBooks updates
  • Damage to your data
  • Computer issues
  • Program code needs repairing

Now before we proceed with the troubleshooting steps, you'll want to ensure that the version of QBDT you have is up to date. Also, I'd highly suggest creating a backup copy of your company file before doing this. I'll attach some helpful articles below to help you:

After ensuring your application is updated and creating a backup copy of the company file, you'll want to attempt to access your company file with a different QuickBooks user. To begin, here's how:

  1. Go to Company, select Set Up Users and Passwords then select  Set Up Users.
  2. Enterprise users: Go to the Company menu, then select Users then select Set Up Users and Roles.
  3. Select Add User..., type the username and password then select Next. A reminder, don't use the damaged user name.
  4. Customize the user as necessary, then select Finish.
  5. Go to File, then select Close Company/Logoff.
  6. Log in to the company file using the new login credential.

If it works, you'll want to delete the user you're experiencing problems with and recreate them again. But if this error happens when you're trying to access the file as the admin user, I recommend running the QuickBooks File Doctor program.

Additionally, you can visit this article to see other available solutions to resolve unrecoverable errors in QBDT: Troubleshoot Unrecoverable Error XXXXX XXXXX.

Also, here in QuickBooks. Know that you can check to ensure that the company file you have don't have any hidden issues. Refer to this article for more information: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
