Am unable to connect QB to a kotak bank account. I get Error 105/106. This issue is happening ever since Kotak has upgraded its website. Any one facing the same problem?

Am unable to connect QB to a kotak bank account. I get Error 105/106. This issue is happening ever since Kotak has upgraded its website. Any one facing the same problem?

I'm here to ensure that you're able to get your bank transactions into QuickBooks, rajiv.p.mehta.


Every time there are updates within your bank, let's ensure that you update QuickBooks as well. Bank error 105/106 usually means that there can be a problem on your bank's end. Their website may be undergoing maintenance or have server issues. This can stop the online bank connection to QuickBooks.

 

You can manually update the online banking connection within QuickBooks. let me show you how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  3. Click the bank and select Update.

Another way of refreshing the connection is to disconnect and reconnect the updated Kotak account. Before we proceed, make sure to add and match all the pending transactions in the Banking page. Disconnecting the automatic online banking updates will delete any transactions in the For Review tab.

 

After that, follow the steps below to disconnect the account:

 

  1. Go to Banking on the left pane, then select Banking at the top.
  2. Choose the account you want to change, and then click Edit (pencil icon).
  3. Click Edit account info.
  4. In the Account window, check the box next to Disconnect this account on save.
  5. Hit Save and Close.
