We are facing serious performance issues with quickbooks in our location in Malaysia. Can someone provide me a list of companies/partners that can support us in solving this issue?

Hi,

 

Following issues are currently being experienced on our standard laptops.

 

We have 4 users for this application.

QuickBooks (ERP) - QB is running on a local physical server (not virtualized) on a non-compliant OS version.

Initially post migration once the new laptops were provided to end users, they tried to access the QB application via RDP and realized that the multi user solution was not working.

At any instance only 2 of the 4 users could login and work with the solution, whilst the performance for the 2 users was as expected, the deterrent was only 2 users could login as opposed to requirement of 4 users.

This limitation is due to RDP where without license only 2 sessions are allowed simultaneously.

 

Post this we tried the AVD setup to have users access the QB solution without limitation on simultaneous session.

However we had issues with all 4 users where they couldn’t login and also they had trouble to export a report.

We have been unable to assess what is causing this issue.

Hello there, David. We'll point you in the right direction to fix this issue and allow all users to access the company file without errors and complete the tasks.
 
We recommend working with IT personnel so they can help configure your company's current RDP and AVD setup and ensure it allows all assigned users to access the company file and export the needed report.

Our subsidiary is based in Malaysia. Can we get contacts from local support organization please? As asked before, it would be great to get a consultant from you or your partners onsite to solve the issue.

Intuit Desktop team support is only available in the US and you can only contact them during their business hours. Alternatively, you can ask your local team in Malaysia to contact a reputable partner in a nearby country. They can seek advice from @Fiat Lux - ASIA
