After speaking with tech support, I was told that I am unable to print Laser cheques in QBO because I have the International version (not USA or Canada). I can pay bills using cheques, assign cheques, pay expenses with cheques, but.... cannot print those same cheques! I never anticipated this would be an issue for a bookkeeping software when we switched to QBO last month! I was told to suggest this feature to the development team via the blog. However, I can't find where to do that. This surely shouldn't be a major hurdle for the development team. We are in The Bahamas and use Laser cheques the same as those in the USA. If you are listening Development Team, please let me know where this feature stands, and if you are able to implement this with any ETA. Thank you!

Hi there, @TP35. I'm here to provide additional info about printing cheques in QuickBooks Online (QBO) global version.
Currently, the Print cheque option is unavailable to some QBO regions. As a workaround, you can look for a third-party application that has the ability to print checks. To do so, simply go to the Apps menu and select the Find Apps tab. Please see the screenshot below:
I've also got here a helpful resource that you can access at any time that includes a compilation of help articles: QBO Help Article.

I can't believe the option to print cheques is still not available to QBO despite it being available on Quickbooks Desktop SINCE V3 - about 1995 - it seems to be available in the USA/Canada so why have you got problems with the UK and other countries or is it a case of ignore them, so it seems.
Even the work around fails as it asks you to enter a cheque number GOING forward but you still can't enter the cheque number for those cheques issued going backwards in any shape or form and the accountant is not happy with this at the end of the financial year - sort this out quickly - I doubt the UK authorities will look at this with open hands - they will come back to you and start asking if your company should be a 'qualified' company dealing with accounting.
