Hello there, @TUSSU.
I'd be glad to help and provide information for you to remove the entries from accounts receivable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
When you create a payment through Journal Entry, it'll not be considered as a payment until it's linked to an invoice. Although it'll offset your balance, it'll be visible in your Accounts Receivable Aging Summary report. To remove this payment, you'll need to link it to an open invoice through the receive payment feature.
Here's how:
After linking the open invoice through receive payment, check the Accounts Receivable aging summary report again if it still appears in the report.
In addition, you might want to check these articles to guide you reverse a journal entry and reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements.
Let me know if you have other questions or concerns about Journal Entry. I'll be around to provide further assistance to you.
Thank you for your quick reply, it is a journal that is made up of different folders from the chart of accounts so there is no customer. I wonder would it to ok to just delete the journal?
Thanks,
Noel
