Good day, OffshoreAdmin!
I understand that you need to follow the new regulations issued by the Saudi Arabian Government. I'm here to explain how QuickBooks Online can help you and your business.
One of the basic features of QuickBooks Online is electronic invoicing. You can create and send invoices within the system. Please check the detailed steps here: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Also, yes, you can integrate other software to QuickBooks Online through API. There are a lot of developers who are doing this already. You may want to visit our Developer Community so they can assist you with it.
Though QuickBooks Online doesn't have a built-in anti-tampering detector, you may seek some help from the Developer Community. They can advise you on what and how to install or integrate a tamperproof solution to QuickBooks Online.
Intuit always makes sure to match your business needs. If you need more references on how to manage your business with QuickBooks Online, visit the Help Articles page.

Dear Alex,
there is 120 pages of information about the data structure for the E-invoice, and i really don't see how the current structure of invoice in QBO could be an E-invoice. also there will be a need of XML format of the invoice to my limited understanding of the situation.
kindly refrain from providing misleading information.
Me too
I am not able to know how to link E-invoice with QuickBooks, not able to find any body who knows how to do it, no authorized sellers in KSA,
I have more than 4 accounts for my client and thinking to change them to Odoo another providers because QuickBooks will be useless if not able to link it to E-invoicing,
best
Afaik, the requirement is not yet final and we have asked our clients in KSA to wait until the end of October. Otherwise, they should consider migrating the data to another accounting application to comply. Frankly, I don't prefer to recommend Odoo to my clients if they don't have an in-house IT team.
Hi, @Uthaman.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) has default templates for invoices. The structure of the invoice template for Saudi Arabia's Electronic Invoice Format and Regulations is not yet available in the system. For now, I recommend looking for a third-party application that you can integrate with QBO to comply with the new regulations.
I can see the importance of creating invoices that meets your tax agency's needs. Rest assured our engineering team is looking into this and aims to deliver the best services to all QuickBooks users. That said, they're constantly working to cope with your business needs.
While waiting for updates, here's how you can learn more about handling invoices in QBO: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know in the comment section below if you have any other follow-up questions about Saudi Arabia's New E-invoice Regulations. I'm always here to help. Cheers for more success!
As I mentioned earlier, you should wait until the end of Q3 2021. Otherwise, consider switching to another accounting app.

Hi,
Can you please confirm if QB online has fulfilled ZATCA's requirements regarding the implementation of the E-Invoicing ?, or switching to another accounting app. has become a must now ?
Check your PM. Hope it helps.
Let me clarify things about the new implementation of e-invoicing in Saudi Arabia, @Gamal_Sadek.
I recognize the importance of creating an invoice that will meet the new requirements for electronic invoicing and VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia. However, this feature isn't yet available in the system.
In the meantime, I'd suggest checking for a third-party app that you can integrate with QuickBooks Online to comply with the new invoice regulation. Know that QuickBooks Online always aims to be compliant with the rules of the tax agencies, and we find ways to cope with your business's needs.
While waiting for some updates, you may review this article to learn more about managing invoices in QBO: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online. It also covers some information on how to enhance invoices and receive payments.
Thanks for your patience while we work on the implementation of the new invoice regulation. If you have other questions, don't hesitate to get back to this thread. I'll be happy to assist you again. Take care!

Hi there, NaderAbbasi.
Thank you for coming back to the thread to ask for clarification about the availability of a feature in the other version of QuickBooks. With this, I'll ensure to share some details about the option and route you to the right page so the feature will be possible.
Currently, QuickBooks Desktop is not available in the United Arab Emirates. This is only available in the US, AU, and CA regions. Also, generating an invoice that will meet the new requirements for electronic invoicing and VAT regulations in UAE isn't possible.
I can see how the said option is essential for both you and your organization with running a business. For now, I encourage you to submit a request about creating an invoice that will meet new requirements by going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online. Then, choose Feedback. From there, any recommendations are sent to our engineer for consideration in future updates.
You may open this article to view various details on how Invoices work in QuickBooks: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.
Don't hesitate to post again if you have any other follow-up questions about E-invoice Regulations. I'm always here to help. Have a good day!
Check your PM. Hope it helps.
